Art I- Week of January 25th

ART I students selected two different fonts of the same initial of their name (first, middle or last initial) through exploration of font styles in Microsoft Word, and found through Google images. These letters were printed, cut-out & used as templates to create a composition of 4 overlapping letter forms. The primary colors & gray will be applied to the 4 letter forms, causing a variety of colors (secondaries, brown, and tones) to be created from the visual overlap of these hues. Students will practice, apply & develop a variety of techniques & skills related to painting & color theory & effective maintenance of supplies
