Clearly communicate your understanding of the following ‘Think/Write’ quote that was discussed in class: 

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” –Pablo Picasso 

Your explanation should be at least one paragraph long, and discuss the following ideas: 

-The differences between children and adults, 
-How/why adults lose the ‘artist’ they once were, 
-How to solve the problem of growing into a ‘non-artist’

2013 Community Photo Contest

Art II- week of September 8th

ART II students selected an object which they have been sketching from various viewpoints. 3 different viewpoints will be selected for the final composition. These viewpoints will be creatively composed to develop a definite focal point, movement, and visual interest throughout. A full range of value will be developed on each viewpoint in order to create the form, texture and surface quality of the object.
