ART I- Sketchbook #4- Animal Character Play Synopsis
Create the storyline of a play involving your animal characters.
1. List the following key components of your play.
- Name of Play
- Setting and Time Period. (Where and when)
- Genre/Mood (Action/Adventure, Comedy, Crime/Mystery, Drama, Family, Fantasy, Horror, Musical, Silent, Suspense/Thriller)
- Names of main animal characters of the play, and what type of animal.
2. Write a three-paragraph synopsis (brief but detailed) of your play.
(Paragraph=at least 5 sentences)
Structure your 3 paragraphs based on the following information.
1- Setup. Introduce your characters, relationships, background information, motivations, etc.
2- Conflict. What problem occurs? How does this problem affect your characters?
3- Resolution. What is the outcome of the conflict? How is the problem solved? What impact does this have on the main characters?
