You will create an Expression mask based on the design characteristics of a particular culture.

• List and explain 5 different purposes of a mask.
• Research and sketch a variety of different mask forms and features. Minimum of 3 thumbnail sketches of different masks 
• (Print out any of particular interest).
• List 5 characteristics/moods that can be expressed facially and explain how the face conveys this feeling. (what features are involved in creating the expression).
• Project idea sketches.
• Combine a specific facial expression with a specific cultural mask. Create 4 different thumbnail sketches.
