Art II- Week of January 2nd

Art II students began the development of their White Paper Sculpture.

Concept
Create a sculpture in-the-round of various thicknesses, white paper media. The sculpture can be objective, abstract, or non-objective.

Composition
Utilize knowledge and understanding of shape, form, scale, variety, value, space, contrast and composition to create visual interest all around the work.

Technique
Utilize a variety of paper sculpting techniques to create the forms that will create interest, variety and take advantage of the qualities of each individual material.

Process
Utilize the creative process that has been practiced throughout the course thus far (sketch, explore techniques/materials, develop ideas, develop final artwork).


* Full effort, thought, creativity and positive attitude towards embracing challenges must go into the work. Do not select the easiest solution, take a challenge the will display full creative and skill abilities.
