Art I- week of September 23rd

ART I students have begun to develop skills and techniques related to observational drawing.
To draw realistically, one must be able to observe critically.

One exercise employed to develop observation skills and hand-eye coordination is the Blind Contour Drawing. click here to read an explanation of this exercise

All students selected an object to carefully observation and sketch from various viewpoints (at least 3 required).

The most interesting viewpoint discovered through the sketching process, will become the basis of a final Contour line drawing.
