Art II- Week of October 14th

After completing NB#1- Deconstructed Character Brainstorm, each student selected 1 character that provides visually interesting characteristics the will be deconstructed, then composed into an abstract relief sculpture.

Using the visual information of that character, students created 3 different composition sketches using the simplified parts of their character.

KEY CONCEPTS in composing the character features:
- Variety in size, color, shapes, textures, and levels/angles.

- Altered scale- size relationship of parts.
