Art II- Week of October 28th

Each student selected 1 character that provides visually interesting characteristics the will be deconstructed, then composed into an abstract relief sculpture.

Using the visual information of that character, students created 3 different composition sketches using the simplified parts of their character.

KEY CONCEPTS in composing the character features:
Variety in size, color, shapes, textures, and levels/angles.
Altered scale- size relationship of parts.

All students are in the process of creating the deconstructed elements of their chosen character and assembling them into a cohesive and visually interesting composition.
